Dr. Baowen Liu, Hohai University, China
Baowen Liu, born in February 1988, is a member of the Communist Party of China, with a doctoral degree (later) and a master's supervisor. He is a young candidate for "U35 Innovation" in Jiangsu, a senior member of the Chinese Electrotechnical Society, and the deputy director of the Institute of Major Power Equipment and Fault Diagnosis. Mainly engaged in research on grounding fault detection and arc suppression in distribution networks, as well as fault diagnosis of electrical equipment. Presided over the Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation General Program/Youth Program, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Program, Central University Basic Research Business Fees, and School Practical Education Reform Key Projects, and participated in key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Published 21 journal papers as first/corresponding author, including 17 SCI/EI source journals. The first inventor authorized more than 10 invention patents, 1 Australian and 1 American patent, and 1 conversion. Received the title of "Challenge Cup" National Excellent Instructor, guided the "Challenge Cup" technology competition with national first prize, provincial special prize, and provincial gold award. Received Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation from Hohai University, China Patent Excellence Award, Second Prize in Science and Technology Progress from the Chinese Electrotechnical Society, and Outstanding Paper Award in High Voltage Technology.
