Wang Peng (IEEE Fellow) received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada in 1995 and 1998. He is currently a professor of Nanyang University of Technology in Singapore. He is a famous expert in the field of power system reliability in the world. As a principle investigator, he undertook multiple major projects in Singapore, China and Europe. He has published more than 300 papers, in which more than 100 papers are published in IEEE Trans. journals. He has been invited to give keynote reports at important international academic conferences for many times. He firstly proposed the conception and structure of AC-DC hybrid microgrid in the world.
